These are some of our favorite bible study resources and tools - if you get stuck on a concept/bible verse, or want to dive deeper on something, give these sites a visit!
How do I study the bible?
-- To learn about Jesus we suggest you start in John (we have a bible study you can follow, found down below!)
-- To gain a deeper understanding of who God is and what the bible is all about we recomend you start from the begining. (Check out heart dive down below)
-- Other than that, start where the spirit leads you! Pray about it and look at the short descriptions of these bible studies and there may be one you're intrested in!
For answers to questions - specifically concepts or ideas that are expressed in the bible that may seem a little confusing
This is a complete breakdown of the bible verse-by-verse (some parts are still being written) Stuck on a specific line? Give this a try!
Shows the origonal hebrew/greek writing beside modern english - use this when a word seems out of place or makes no sense, it could just be a translation choice
SO many resources! our favorite though is the comentaries. This site gives you so many different opinions from theologans side-by-side. Click the link and go to commentaries.
Free Bible Studies:
Please note that the studies listed at the top are good for everyone, but especially those who are new to the bible. The studies found further down the page are better suited for those who want a serious deep dive into the bible.
Our favorite bible study! Heart Dive 365
This is a video/podcast study. We suggest doing the study playlist labled "Heart Dive Phase One (2024)" before going on to the current year. This will give you a more solid, deep understanding of the bible before moving onto the next/current year.
I AM (The book of John)
This is a reading/writing study over the gospel of John. This study can be done independintly or with a group. The book of john covers the life of Jesus and is a great way to start studing the bible!
GBC Resource Library
These are free reading/writing PDF bible studies. They're perfect for independent or group work. This site has tons of free resources. Filter by "cirriculum" to see their bible studies.
Manna : Daily Studies
This app is like duolingo but for the bible! This is a perfect study if you feel like you know nothing about the bible and want a nice overview. This study is great for those new to the faith - but if you have been a christian for quite some time, we recomend something deeper than this.
Got Questions Studies
These are reading/writing bible studies that you can print out and really allow you to work independently (or with a group) to dive into some of your own thoughts about the bible. there are many different short, free, and printable bible studies here.
Discipleship Guide Archive
These are reading/writing bible studies mostl tailored for groups, with some videos throughout. Wanna study with a friend? These are the perfect studied for you provided by Summit View Church in Vancouver, Washington.
The Naked Bible Podcast
This podcast cuts the fluff and gets straight into the Bible — original languages, ancient context, and what the text actually says. It’s not really for new believers, but if you’re ready for deep, no-nonsense study, it’s a game-changer.
The BEMA Podcast
This podcast is a walk-through of the context of the bible, and the text itself as well as the surrounding history. They deconstruct common readings of the bible and attempt to reconstruct them through the lens of historical context. Start with episode 0 to understand the study before you begin.
The Bible Project
These are free bible classes. They are CLASSES - they go super in depth and you will learn alot, however if you are new to the faith or the bible we recomend starting with something a little easier to digest such as heart dive 365.
